<br />(D <br />M <br />C'7 <br />Q <br />z <br />? <br />? <br /> <br /> <br />? <br />1 <br />I <br />i <br />, <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />1/17/94 ; <br />Page Five ' STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br /> <br />Activities Committee - Mary Peto (in the audience) reported that the appreciation <br />dinner will be held Feliruary 12. <br />i <br />Laura Lynch (in the audience) reported that they are getting ready for '50s night in June. <br />Chief Mohr asked about '50s Night. He said they had discussed renting some radio <br />equipment this year; it; must be reserved. <br />, <br />The next meeting is January 25 at 8 p.m. Fifties Night will be held June 11. <br />i <br />Mayor Rinker said we;will want some proposals from both of you (Chiefs) on these. <br />Architectural Review $oard - Mr. Amendola said the Board met and passed on a split <br />rail fence and reviewed the Revco signs. They wanted to put their national logo of red, <br />but we reminded them we have stood fast on black and white in that section; and the <br />signs will be black and white. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said the Board approved a variance for Dr. Stabile on <br />the entrance of his property to build another home. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Fixler said there was no report. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Committee - Mrs. Cinco said they have not met since November. <br />They will be meeting January 25 at 8 p.m. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said the Commission on Aging Director (Eunice <br />Kalina) sends the following report to Council: All is going well with their various <br />activities. Attendance'is a little on the light side due to the weather and various health <br />situations. Their "Getfing to Know You" program with Center School fourth graders <br />continues to go well. The annual employee luncheon will be Monday, February 14. <br />Plans are underway fo,r spring and summer trips. <br />Mrs. Cinco thanked Eunice for completing the financial reports. She knows she worked <br />hard with Phil Brett to get this done. <br />Safetv and Service - Mr. Fixler said the Commission met January 10. The first topic of <br />discussion was the snow removal service provided Christmas weekend and why a man <br />was plowing the bike path when streets were not done.
