46
Regular Council Meeting
2/21/94
Page Twelve
not only look to his recommendation, but would refer anybody on the street who has
questions to talk to him. He will be able to respond to it.
Mr. Peto said those trees should have been flagged already. He should have walked
through and figured out what trees are going to be knocked down.
Mayor Rinker said he does not dictate how the arborist is supposed to do his job up -
ahead of time, but he stands behind what we expect will ultimately be done with those
trees.
Mr. Peto said as a property owner, he is worried about his property more than the
Village is.
Mrs. Lynch asked if the residents will be made aware of the walk through.
Mayor Rinker said whenever we go through an area like that, we will definitely let you
know. That is why I at least wanted to get this packet of materials to you. We will be
sending around a bulletin this week with general information. It is harder for us to deal
with everyone as a group than it is to have one or two people, like street captains.
Mayor Rinker said since she stepped forward, she will get information. The Village has a very keen interest in being able to control that piece of
property when it becomes available.
Mrs. Lynch asked about the health and safety of the residents during the demolition of
the dome. A number of residents have spoken to her expressing their concern about
what will happen to the sewage when they remove the dome. Will they pack up the
dirt, etc.
Mr. Hovancsek said the dome used to be a styrofoam dome, but it was replaced with
the aluminum one about 10 or 12 years ago. The removal of the dome should go
relatively smoothly. The removal of the concrete structure should also go relatively
smoothly. It is a very simple demolition of that structure. They will have a large piece
of equipment in there; as the structure demolished, it will be loaded in the trucks and
removed from the site. There will be a bond in place for Bonnieview Road. So, if
during the trucking of the sewer work on Beech Hill or the demolition of the holding
