53 Regular Council Meeting , 2/21/94 Page Nineteen Mrs. Cinco asked Chief Mohr how this works. (D CY) M Q z ?i Chief Mohr said this is our annual fee charged by the Cleveland Water Department. Because they own the water system, they charge every community for the amount of hydrants within the community, for the use of water from those hydrants and those hydrants hooked into the system. He concurs if Council wants to hold it as a temporary hold back until we get our street repairs. First Reading of Resolution No. 94-11, entitled; A resolution authorizing payment of the Historical Society dues in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars. Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Cinco said she would like to ask for discussion at this time for a one-time increase in addition to the $2,500. We have had discussion on this, we have all seen pictures of the damage there to their wall in back. We all feel that we are good supporters of the Historical Society. They, in turn, are a big part of our community. She asked for an additional $1,000 and amend the resolution to $3,500. They can, in turn, present this to the other communities and likewise receive a similar resolution and payment. Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend Resolution No. 94-41 to include an additional $1,000 as a one-time increase to their annual payment of $2,500. ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Fixler, Mr. Stephens NAYS: None ABSTAIN: Mr. Flynn Motion Carried Resolution Amended Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to adopt Resolution 94-11 as amended.
