223
Special Council Meeting .
8/1/94
Page Five
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Ordinance Enacted
ANY OTHER MATTER TO COME BEFORE COUNCIL
?
M Mrs. Cinco said Mayor Rinker had asked for two things in his weekly summary so that
CY) as the Village attempts to solve minor problems in the Village that we give them a cap.
z Mayor Rinker said one item is concerning miscellaneous water projects; the other is
c about Beech Hill itself.
G
Mrs. Cinco asked for a motion to amend the agenda to include the above-mentioned
items.
Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the agenda to include
discussion concerning miscellaneous water projects and Beech Hill.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Agenda Amended
Water Projects
1Vlayor Rinker said the Water Committee has convened a number of times over the last
month and has identified some projects that were loosely estimated by the Engineer.
He would like Council to exercise some discretion--but if any work is going to get done-
-he wanted Council to give some direction. If there are a couple of things they would
like to see get done, they should take advantage of the weather.
Mrs. Cinco described some of the projects.
1) The silting in of Beechers Brook ($1,500);
2) Oakton Circle (preliminary estimate of $5,000)
3) South Woodlane and Ridgebury. ($4,5,000)
Mrs. Cinco said they are looking for some kind of cap, either collectively or
individually; the intention is not to go overboard.
Mayor Rinker suggested Beechers Brook be excluded from this consideration since the
amount of that project is well within his spending authority. Each of the other projects
would exceed his authority.
