280
Regular Council Meeting , ,
11/21%94` "
Page Six
Mayor Rinker said Tom has been mad-dogging this thing. This has been a labor of love
to get all the final work done. We have taken the bull by the horns on some of the
landscaping aspects because we want to take advantage of the final stages of the
growing season.
Mr. Flynn said he has questions about the barrier landscaping for Beech Hill Road and
fencing for the walking bridge.
Mayor Rinker said Gil Kostelec was approached a couple of weeks back. We have a
number of trees right now at the Service garage and will order others to go along with a
plan that he has presented as our Landscape Architect. Mayor Rinker said the plan is
to plant on the north side, the north bank of the creek; there will be a gravel walkway
that will connect the end of the street to the foot bridge. We are putting up barricades
per specs from the Police Department on both sides. We are trying to get those within
the next week or so because when the contractor goes, he takes down the barricades--so
we want to be able to have ours up. We have had some thoughts about doing some
landscaping on the south side of the creek--we will probably hold off on that until the
spring until we see how the first one sets up. - -
North Trunk Sewer Project - Mr. Hovancsek said the design is nearly complete. We will
be contacting various property owners for rights-of-entry. He has sent data to O.D.O.T.
and formally requested their right-of-entry for access under I-271. We should have that
project pretty well wrapped up within the next 2-3 weeks so that we can turn the plans
into the County for their review.
Request for Liquor Permit Transfer (Chicago Deli & Restaurant DBA Coopermans Deli
to Goodv Good Goods Inc. DBA Austins Smokin Steak House) - Mrs. Cinco said
? ?
Council received this information this evening.
Miss Heath said we received the request today; it must be returned within 30 days.
Mrs. Cinco asked if Council needed to make a motion.
Mr. Diemert said only if they want to object.
Mrs. Cinco asked if there were any objections from Council to the transfer of this liquor
permit.
