Regular Council Meeting 1/18/93 Page Six Mr. Rinker clarified it is the fact you are giving a variance period. He thought one of the key considerations with the church was one of scale. T'he scope of issues is a lot different; they are talking apples and oranges. Mr. Fixler said he wanted to be sure we are not giving this variance for additional parking spots as opposed to the lay of the land. Mr. Rinker said there was an original plan that called for a building larger in size; this was scaled down to be a realistic use of the property. Discussion was held. 1VIr. Flynn asked where their parking is and what the set backs are. Mr. Basile said it is in the front. Mr. Rinker said the side yard set back on the east and west sides is 10' on the building, 5' on the lot. Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the variance request for Dr. Lopresti (approval as recommended by Planning & Zoning 1/ 11 /93.) IZOLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Variance Approved Mr. Basile said, to complete his report on the last Planning and Zoning meeting, they also discussed Ordinance No. 92-08. They recommend the ordinance be passed. Mr. Basile read the workshop agenda for Thursday. Recreation - Mr. Fixler said he had no report. IZecreation Silver Anniversarv Committee - Mrs. Mikula said they had one meeting already. They will have another meeting Wednesday. A small article was included in the VOICE OF THE VILLAGE. They are going back and looking through minutes and trying to locate some of the original children who played. They are moving forward. Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco said the Committee met january 11. One item was on their?agenda-discussion and approval of 26 alpha pagers to lease. Communii-y Relations Coordinator - Mr. Phillips said he had no report.
