Regular Council Meeting <br />1/18/93 <br />Page Seven <br />Mayor's Updates: <br /> <br />Mayor Pietrafese said he met with Engineer Steve Hovancsek and representatives of the <br />County Engineer's Office. He said they gave us an update on the Beech Hill pumping <br />station. They informed us last Monday that they installed a new pumping control and <br />generator at a cost of about $140,000. At that time, Mayor I'ietrafese said he and Mr. <br />Hovancsek voiced an interest in buying the old pumping station when it comes up for <br />sale which will probably be in the next couple of years when the Hilltop Interceptor <br />comes in. He thinks they might be able to buy it at a very low cost and keep the <br />building and cement pad. They are contemplating putting a recreational facility in <br />there (it is a ten-acre parcel.) <br />Police Department: <br />Motion to approve the expenditure of $2,846 to StuarE & Associates for the printing of <br />fraffic citations <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve the expenditure of <br />$2,846 to Stuart & Associates for the printing of traffic citations. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mr. Rinker <br />NAYS: None <br />Fire Department: <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Motion to approve the expenditure of $4;235 to USA Mobil Inc. for the lease purchase <br />of 26 alpha pagers for the fire clepartment <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the expenditure of $4,235 <br />to USA Mobil Inc. for the lease purchase of 26 alpha pagers for the fire department. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile; Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mr. Rinker. <br />NAYS: None <br /> <br />General: <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Confirmation of Appointments of Coniract Employees:
