Regular Council Meeting 3/15/93 Page 4 Finance (continued) Mr. Flynn said a couple of items haci to do with personnel; they will have more discussion on those. The general fund will handle the Itecreation camp counselors funding and it will be run through the Finance Department. Mr. Flynn said the 1993 street reconstruction is estimated at $139,500 including engineer's fees and they would like Council to have a motion to go out for bids if they so desire. The Finance Director would like to have more time to research with the Finance Committee on the S.A.F.E. program. Mr. Flynn said they are asking for a Finance Meeting a week from today, March 22, at 7 p.m., to discuss the budget. There will be a special Council Meeting March 29 to approve that. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said they met February 27. They had a light turnout. Timothy McCormack and Marty Puin were guest speakers. They have requested the Mayor, Council, and Department Heads attend the next meeting if possible. The Hillcrest Council of Councils meets every three months; Mr. Ferrante will notify everyone when it is closer to that time. Historical Societv - Mr. Busa said Mr. Plastine reports that the painting of the walls and woodwork has been completed in the center of the historic house; the floors received their first sanding today. After the work is completed, they will move the furniture into place in the living room, nursery and lavatory. Mr. Busa said the Mayfield Township Historical Society wishes to send their heartfelt thanks for the Village's annual contribution of $2,500 for the maintenance and restoration of the house. Everyone is invited to attend the Arbor Day Ceremony on Apri130 at TO a.m. M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they met March 4. Our new representative, Jim Farmer, was there from Mayfield Village. Mrs. Cinco read the slate of officers for 1993. They are in the process of doing bylaw review and needs a resolution drafted from Council as far as the terms of appointment of the Village representative; she will ask Council to do that. Ordinance Review Committee - Mrs. Cinco said Mayor Rinker promised to get ready to go with that. Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Commission met March 1st. They should receive the drawing from the church in time to hold discussion at their Workshop on March 18. They discussed Ordinance No. 93-06 and a motion was made and approved for the recommendation to go to Council. Heinen's has submitted a letter requesting a parking variance and also a request for a variance on the wall. Planning and Zoning approved this tonight.
