Hovancsek reported that bids for street repair worlc, resurfacing, and street striping <br />will be due Apri130. He recommended a motion to advertise for bids be made at this <br />time for rubbish collection. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to authorize $he advertisement of <br />bids for rubbish collection and recycling. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferran$e, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mrs. Leppla <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Mr. Diemert reported that all of Council and Mayor Rinker have been subjected to <br />depositions regarding the new case filed relative to the residential rezoning of the <br />northwest quadrant. The hearing will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in room 20D of the <br />Justice Center. The public and all Council members are welcome to attend. Mayor I <br />Rinker and Mr. Hovancsek are required to attend. - <br />Chief Mohr reported the ladder trucic is in full service. It was usecl at the Carmen's fire. <br />Mr. Brett said he met with the Finance Committee and discussed capital projects. He <br />said we are looking as to going with short-term financing with the option of looking <br />into long-term financing in the future. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported that the Board passed on an <br />addition, a single-family dwelling, and a deck at their last meeting. <br />Board of Mpeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting. <br />Cemeterv - Mr. Fixler reported they met March 17. At that time, Sam Scampitilla <br />volunteered to take over as Treasurer. They will be meeting two weeks from <br />Wednesclay to go over different items. They will be making arrangements to have a <br />new sign put up in the near future. <br />Citizen's p,dvisorv - Mrs. Cinco said they met March 29.
