Regular Council Meeting <br />4/19/93 <br />Page Seven <br />committee heard about bike patrol from Chief Stevens; Chief Mohr discussed the new <br />truck. We will talk about composting tonight. There was a concern about the traffic <br />light at Wilson Mills and Miner. The next Citizen's Advisory Committee Meeting will <br />be on May 24. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said there was no report. <br />Finance Comnuttee - Mr. Flynn said they met this evening. He said they discussed the <br />following: <br />1) Telephone recording unit. He talked to Chief Stevens and it will require no physical <br />adjustments to the building. <br />2) 1-1/2 ton truck from Lake Truck (41,500) They are requesting consideration of these <br />items at the May meeting. <br />3) Robert C. Hill -$3,071.16 - Mr. Flynn said they have asked the Finance Director to <br />research this and would like Council to pass this item conditional on the Finance <br />Director's approval. <br />4) Concession Trailer - They would like to get more information about this from Mr. <br />Amendola. They would like to see pictures, specifications, and how it will function. <br />Mr. Amendola said he has received bids from two companies. He said they have not <br />yet received a bid from the third company. <br />Mayor Rinker asked what the specifications were. <br />Mr. Amendola stated the specifications of the trailer: It is 8' wide, 20' long, 66" high, <br />has two windows, two 4 x 8 doors in the back, a 60 amp panel, 6 20-amp outlets, a 25' <br />cord, roof vents, and counters. <br />Mr. Flynn asked if Mr. Amendola has seen them. <br />He showed Council a brochure about the trailer (with information about the unit and a <br />pictrxre.) <br />Mr. Flynn said they will leave it up to Council to think about it and see what their <br />pleasure is at the end of this meeting. <br />Mrs. Cinco said it would reduce the amount of time spent preparing for an event. <br />Mr. Amendola confirmed that it would. <br />Mrs. Leppla asked how many events the trailer could be utilized for.
