Regular Council Meeting <br />6/21/93 <br />Page Eleven <br />T'hey received a few complaints about the softball diamonds. Gus feels drain tiles are <br />needed. Recreation is looking into drain tile for the front field. <br />Recreation Silver Anniversary Committee - Mayor Rinker said Mrs. Mikula advises the <br />Committee is meeting tomorrow night. They are on the threshold of getting some major <br />plans; she feels by the next Council Meeting she will have a full report. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked for a motion to amend the agenda to include: 1) Signal Maintenance <br />Contract (a motion to approve $2,894); and asked Mr. Fixler what item he is requesting <br />be added. <br />Mr. Fixler requested further discussion of the property at 513 Zorn Lane be added to <br />tonight's agenda. <br />Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to add consideration of the Signal <br />Maintenance Contract and discussion regarding 513 Zorn Lane to the agenda. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />• Purchase of Fuel - Consideration of Bids Received - Mrs. Cinco said the two bids <br />were very close and asked Mr. Amendola which of the companies he recommends. <br />Mr. Amendola said he recommends Universal Oil. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into a contract with Universal Oil. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />• Sale of 1988 Ford Crown Victoria - Consideration of Bids Received - Mr. Diemert <br />explained that instead of selling this car by itself, the Village had an opportunity to sell <br />this car with the other 3 cars (as a package) to the City of Highland Hills. He explained <br />that the Village does not have to go out for bids when they sell an item or items to <br />another municipality. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to accept the bids received for the <br />sale of the 1988 Ford Crown Victoria.
