Regular Council Meeting <br />7/19/93 <br />Page Ten <br />Mrs. Cinco said Ordinance No. 93-35 will remain on first reading. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-36, entitled; "An emergency ordinance amending <br />Section 1367.01 of the Codified Ordinances relating to minimum living area for dwelling <br />houses." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco said this ordinance will remain on first reading and will be given to the <br />Architectural Review Board although they are the ones that have asked for that. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 93-14, entitled;* "An emergency resolution granting <br />setback and sign variances to Andrew Randazzo, D.B.A. Dazzlers Hair Design, located <br />at 6678 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor Rinker anci <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All - <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Nlr. Busa, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 93-14. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if everyone was up-to-date with what they received from Planning <br />and Zoning. She has drawings here and they are also on file. <br />Mayor Rinker said the reason they need the sign variance is a tree blocks where they <br />should have put the sign. Planning and Zoning looked at this. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 93-15, entitled; "An emergency resolution establishing <br />the maximum compensation for members of Council." <br />Mrs. Cinco said this will remain on first reading. Mrs. Cinco said so that you all <br />understand how these numbers were chosen, she had spoken to the Finance Director <br />and it was discussed in Finance Committee. We researched the cost of living since 1986 <br />since the time of the last increase of Council. It was determined there has been a 29% <br />increase that would be compounded.
