Mrs. Cinco said Council has dealt with a number <br />of court cases, Upper 40 and the golf course. She arrived at a number of $5,500 for <br />Council and an additional $500 for Council President. If we need to amend it at the next <br />meeting, we will; so that it will be on the ballot. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 93-16, entitled; "An emergency resolution to submit to <br />the voters a quesiion relating to the compensation for the Office of Mayor." <br />Mrs. Cinco said this figure was arrived at considering the cost of living. The Mayor <br />now receives $10,000. She arrived at a$14,000 salary looking at other communities. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if there was any thought that it might make sense to throw this to <br />the Ordinance Review Committee or not. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she thinks Ordinance Review is aware of the facf we are looking at it. <br />Mr. Busa noted a correction (in reference to the date to submit the legislation to the <br />Board of Elections) in the last paragraph of Resolution No. 93-16. <br />Mr. Diemert will make the correction. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 93-17, entitled; "An emergency resolution granting set <br />back and sign size variances to D.O. Summers, located at 6447 Wilson Mills Road, <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 93-17. <br />Mrs. Cinco said a lot of time was spent discussing this with D.O. Summers at the <br />Planning and Zoning Meeting. She asked Mr. Hovancsek to bring everyone up to snuff. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he had reviewed the site plan and had requested several different <br />items be accomplished. They have revised their plans and are complying with our <br />requests.
