Regular Council Meeting <br />7/19/93 <br />Page Eight <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, <br />*Mr. Fixler, *Mr. Flynn, and *Mrs. Leppla <br />NAYS: None <br />*Mr. Fixler said (his aye vote is) with the condition that they will revisit this in the <br />spring regarding "spot landscaping" as Mrs. Leppla had indicated. <br />*Mr. Flynn said he will vote YES under the same condition. <br />*Mrs. Leppla said her vote is YES under the same condition. <br />Motion Carried <br />Landscaping Plan Approved <br />(with contingencies noted above <br />and in the P&Z minutes of 7/15/93) <br />Sale of Police Cars -$8,200 - Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to <br />approve accepting from Highland Hills $8,200 for the sale of four police cars. <br />Mayor Rinker said he received a call from Mr. Diemert this evening. Mayor Rinker said <br />his understanding was that Highland Hills wanted to buy all four of the cars. Now we <br />have learned that they clo not want one of the cars. Mayor Rinker said he has not had a <br />chance to talk with the Mayor of Highland Hills or to have any further input from their <br />Law Director. He asked that Council hold off on this; he wants to find out why they <br />have changed their mind. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to table the motion to approve <br />accepting $8,200 from Highland Hills for the sale of four police cars. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Tabled <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-31, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing <br />and directing the Mayor to enter into a contract with B.F.I. Waste Systems of Ohio, Inc. <br />for solid waste collection, recycling and disposal for a three-year term." Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance be read on three separate occasions.
