Regular Council Meeting 7/19/93 Page Eight ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, *Mr. Fixler, *Mr. Flynn, and *Mrs. Leppla NAYS: None *Mr. Fixler said (his aye vote is) with the condition that they will revisit this in the spring regarding "spot landscaping" as Mrs. Leppla had indicated. *Mr. Flynn said he will vote YES under the same condition. *Mrs. Leppla said her vote is YES under the same condition. Motion Carried Landscaping Plan Approved (with contingencies noted above and in the P&Z minutes of 7/15/93) Sale of Police Cars -$8,200 - Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve accepting from Highland Hills $8,200 for the sale of four police cars. Mayor Rinker said he received a call from Mr. Diemert this evening. Mayor Rinker said his understanding was that Highland Hills wanted to buy all four of the cars. Now we have learned that they clo not want one of the cars. Mayor Rinker said he has not had a chance to talk with the Mayor of Highland Hills or to have any further input from their Law Director. He asked that Council hold off on this; he wants to find out why they have changed their mind. Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to table the motion to approve accepting $8,200 from Highland Hills for the sale of four police cars. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Motion Tabled First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-31, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into a contract with B.F.I. Waste Systems of Ohio, Inc. for solid waste collection, recycling and disposal for a three-year term." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance be read on three separate occasions.
