Council Meeting <br />10/18/93 <br />I'age Three <br />instructions; they felt it should not go by unnoticed. Mayor Rinker said they are all <br />proud to present the resolution to Debbie. <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported that the Ravine Drive culvert project has been completed. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said plans for the Hickory Hill wastewater treatment plant removal are <br />just about completed. That project will be bid through the County. We also submitted <br />preliminary plans for the County's north sanitary trunk line that starts in Highland <br />Heights at Bishop Road and runs along tlle north corporation line of Highland Heights <br />and Mayfield Village. There is also a leg that comes south and just south of Beta Drive. <br />That leg will be picking up the Mt. Vernon Industrial Park pump station. The <br />preliminary plans have been done; the preliminary cost estimates have been submitted <br />to the Village as well as to the County Sanitary Engineer's Office. <br />Chief Mohr said we are receiving phone calls from residents (two this week) asking if <br />. we have entertained people to solicit for funds in the name of the Mayfield Fire <br />., Department. The answer is no. He said residents should be alert that people are out <br />there scamming again and attempting to use Fire Departments as their backing to ask <br />for money. <br />Lt. Jay said Detective Sergeants Smith and Liggett hosted the Ohao Identification <br />Officer's Seminar at the Holiday Inn last week. Apparently, it is the most successful <br />they have ever had. They normally have about 60-70 in attendance; they had over 100 <br />this year. It was very well received. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activites Comrruttee - Mayor Rinker said it seems every time we have scheduled a <br />meeting, something else comes up. There will definitely be a meeting in the next couple <br />of weeks. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Board met and reviewed plans for <br />a garage addition and a sign. <br />Board of A1212eals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for them to meet. <br />Ce? - Mr. Fixler said there was no report. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mrs. Cinco said there is a meetiilg scheduled for October 25 <br />at 8 p.m.
