Mr. Cappello <br />said he spoke to the contractor and that he does not feel he will have any problem <br />finishing our project before December. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if he [the contractor] is waiting until he finishes the project on <br />S.O.M. Center Road. <br />Mr. Cappello said the contractor had stated the original construction schedule was a <br />preliminary schedule. Now that he has the manholes, he hopes to start in mid- <br />February. The contractor would like to finish up his present job--but even that is <br />not stopping him from starting this project. He can start with one crew. <br />Mr. Ferrarite asked the completion date. <br />Mr. Cappello said he believes the job is beyond the completion date. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if we could send a letter to residents saying that mid-February <br />looks good. . <br />Mr. Cappello said yes, although the contractor did put March on his construction <br />schedule. <br />Mayor Rinker said he would like to send notices to those people who have not <br />submitted their maps. . <br />Mr. Cappello said he has received approximately 10-15 (out of 81) to date. <br />Mayor Rinker said we will send notices to those people who have not submitted <br />maps to make sure they get them in. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if we have two years on the Issue II money. <br />Mr. Brett said yes, from July. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked if it was reported that we have a contract now for the first <br />phase of the North County Trunk Line. <br />Mr. Cappello said the County received the bid for the first phase. The County must <br />go through their paperwork, the contractor must submit all the E.E.O., wage data <br />and other-formalities before they can begin the contract.
