He asked Chief Stevens if he was sure that would cover it. <br />Chief Stevens said he is hoping so. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize an expenditure <br />not to exceed $5,300 for the purchase of one patrol car video surveillance system <br />from Kustom Signals, Inc. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Fire Station Furnishings - B&B A1212liance -$9,690.00 <br />Mr. Marquardt asked Chief Mohr to give Couricil a run down of what the items are. <br />Chief Mohr said the appliances (dishwasher, washer dryer, refrigerator, stove, etc.) <br />were part of the architectural bid package. He said we saved $1,500 by removing this <br />from the bid. We went to about 8-9 appliance stores ourselves and B&B gave us the <br />best price. Chief Mohr said he does not have the itemization in front of him, but he <br />could provide it. Chief Mohr returned with some information about the proposal. <br />The largest amount is for a commercial range. <br />After a brief discussion, Chief Mohr said he was not sure of the amount for the <br />commercial range. He said he will look into this and get back to.Council. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said it may be advantageous for the Fire Station to have commercial <br />equipment. He suggested Chief Mohr contact the restaurant fixture places <br />downtown for pricing on the commercial range. <br />Chief Mohr asked if Council would consider approving the expenditure for the <br />other appliances this evening--and he will get back to them about the range. <br />Council President Fixler asked Council to consider making a motion not to exceed <br />$3,100 for the purchase of appliances for the fire station from B&B Appliance.
