<br /> <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />3/18/96 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />A motion to authorize the expenditure of $4 500 for 1996 SPAN Dues <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize the expenditure of <br />$4,500 for 1996 SPAN Dues. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />A motion to authorize the expenditure of $199,358.60 to the Bureau of Worker's <br />Compensation for yearly assessment costs <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to authorize the <br />expenditure of $199,358.60 to the Bureau of Worker's Compensation for yearly <br />assessment costs. <br />Mr. Brett said we do not have a choice; it is a substantial increase over last year. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed $5,000 for the 12urchase of one <br />patrol car video surveillance system from Kustom Signals, Inc. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to authorize an expenditure not <br />to exceed $5,000 for the purchase of one patrol car video surveillance system from <br />Kustom Signals, Inc. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked if there are different vendors on this. <br />Chief Stevens said there are different vendors available; he is trying to match <br />existing equipment: He believes the quote will be slightly higher than $5,000 <br />(possibly $5,300.) <br />Council President Fixler said we have a motion on the table-not to exceed $5,000. He <br />asked for a motion to withdraw that motion. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to withdraw the motion <br />(above.)
