Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
Mr. Hovancsek said the contractor removed the pipe and got into position today. He will start
tomorrow morning. The work should be done by November 9"'. That gives us approximately 20
days to put down the surface. Mr. Cappello said he has been in contact with Willoughby Hills. They
are thinking about putting down a layer of pavement to get through the winter. The pavement on
White Road is checkered and in terrible shape.
Mayor Rinker asked the Village Engineer to prepare a letter [to Willoughby Hills] for his signature
stating the opinion of the Village Engineer and outlining the problems if the resurfacing is not done.
If an option is a single layer-would that be a band-aid effect? We need a commitment from them;
we will not commit funds if they are not going to reimburse us.
