Regular Council Meeting 1-25-99 Page 10 First Reading of Ordinance No. 99-02, "An ordinance appropriating funds for current expenses & expenditures of Mayfield Village, Ohio for the period from January 1, 1998 and ending December 31, 1998 and declaring an emergency." Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Pazker, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance-to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None MQtion Carried Rules Suspended Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Fixler, ma.de a motion to enact Ordinance No. 99=02. Mr. Busa asked why we must pass an ordinance for last year. Mr. Brett explained it is to bring us into legal compliance. This is on two minor funds where we ha.d more expenditures than originally appropriated. One is the deposit fund which we can never predict and the other was the Recreation Fund where we had a slight change because we had the Summer Camp operating and we had a lot more activity in the Recreation Department. He had amended the Ordinance in November but until the final numbers come in, he really can't pinpoint it. These were not more than $1,500 on a 20 million dollar budget.
