Regular Council Meeting <br />4-19-99 <br />Page 8 <br />Dr. Parker asked Mr. Mulbach's suggestion for a pool of our size. <br />Mr. Mulbach said he has seen a range of 75-125 chairs and lounges in other cities. There will be <br />picnic tables in the concession area. <br />A brief discussion was held. <br />Mr. Thomas said he would like to put a memo in Council's packets after doing the survey and <br />talking to the architect. He will have figures and information in the packet on Friday. <br />Discussion was held about holding a special meeting the evening of the May Caucus. <br />Mrs. Roman confirmed Dr. Parker and Mr. Buckholtz had made the motion on the floor. <br />Mr. Diemert said one of them could withdraw their motions. <br />Dr. Parker and Mr. Buckholtz did not withdraw their motion. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said we have done this a million times. <br />Mrs. Roman asked which amount was being used. <br />IVIr. Fixler, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the <br />amount of $3,271.20 to Anthem Life. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 99-13, entitled; "An emergency ordinance establishing the <br />Parkview Swimming Pool salary ordinance for employees for the 1999 season." Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br /> <br /> <br />
