Regular Council Meeting <br />6-21-99 <br />Page 10 <br />Mr. Busa asked why we want that property. <br />Mayor Rinker said it is a keystone properiy; it is critical to getting all contiguous acreage just north <br />of the pool and south of Parkview. We have talked about this a number of times in conjunction with <br />our strategic plan. <br />Council President Marquardt said this is dividing the property we own in half. <br />1V1r. Busa asked if we will use it and not give it away. <br />Council President Marquardt and Mayor Rinker said we will use it. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 99-24, entitled; "An emergency ordiuance adopting a tax budget <br />for Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the year 2000." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Buclcholtz, made a motion to made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 99- <br />24. <br />Mr. Brett asked if there were any questions. <br />This is the first go over of the budget for the year 2000. They are rough estimates.
