Regular Council Meeting 6-21-99 Page 8 Mayor Rinker said he thinks so too, with the caveat that there is an issue of where the trail will run in that area. We will need to get more specific about the trail. Mayor Rinker and Bill Bialosky looked at the map and held more discussion. Mr. Bill Bialosky suggested Mayor Rinker and Council look at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes because their boardwalk is impressive. Mr. Busa said he is concerned about the flow of water. From all indications, normally the water flows to the west. Mr. Bill Bialosky said that most of the water that is in the parking lot now is flowing east (he pointed to the area on the map.) By the construction of the parking lot, we are moving that fall line to the edge of our parking lot. Mr. Bill Bialosky described the proposed site which has been reviewed by a hundred engineers. There will be less water from the Progressive land flowing into the Village's wetland after the parking lot is built than there is at the present time. Discussion was held. Mr. Jack Bialosky suggested Mr. Busa talk with the Village Engineers and URS about how the wetlands operates and how ordinances are and what can and can't be removed. Dr. Parker said we are trying to maintain a wetland so water that would normally flow into that wetland will flow elsewhere--and asked if there will be enough water to maintain a wetland.
