%
Regular Council Meeting
4/24/95
Page Eleven
North County Line Sanitary Trunk Sewer - Mayor Rinker asked Tim Scasny the
meeting dates set for the Septic Home Owners group.
Mr. Scasny said Apri125, May 1st, May 16 and 23.
Mayor Rinker said there is a Council Caucus May 1st. They could come to their
meeting ahead of time. He asked if he wanted to do it that way.
Mr. Scasny said that would be okay; their steering committee meets from 6:30-7:30.
Mayor Rinker said he will be there, Bill will be there, he will have Tom and/or
Steve and Ed Janoviak and the Council President attend.
Hickorv Hill Update - Mr. Cappello said he spoke to Bill Snyder, the Engineer in
charge of the Hickory Hill Pump Station project last week. He indicated the County
is preparing the contract documents. They approved the award recommendation on
the three phases to Rockport and ABC Piping. When they have the resolution to
proceed, they will contact him and he will let Council and the Mayor know so they
can schedule a meeting with the residents as far as the construction schedule.
6039 Ridgebury - Mr. Cappello said he tried to get a hold of Dennis Gould to find out
the status of their cleaning program.
Mayor Rinker said we had received a report while he was away on vacation from
Mrs. Graham saying that she had found some trash. He thinks Bernie was able to
get Mayfield Heights out there to help flush out the system. His primary concern is
that we have worked with the County on this; they have been out there. They have
had reports back. As far as the meeting they had 2 months ago, as far as any
information that should be disseminated, he wants to be sure we are up to speed.
We need to follow through with the County on that.
Discussion re: Community Room Addition - Mr. Samac said two bids were received.
They came in higher than he had anticipated.
A brief discussion was held.
Mr. Samac said they might want to consider rebidding each section individually.
Mayor Rinker said we are committed to moving the Council meetings to the
community room. At very least, he would like to see bidding on the west end again.
