Regular Council Meeting <br />5/15/95 <br />Page Ten <br />Wilev Park Drainage - Mr. Fixler asked the status on the drainage for Diamond <br />number one. <br />Mr. Amendola said he had one contact with the man that was supposed to take care <br />of the drainage. He has never called back. He said he had never received a contract. <br />He wrote him a letter in which he suggested to him that he come in and I would <br />give him a hand to see what has to be done, but he hasn't heard from him other <br />than that. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said he spoke to him last week and told him he absolutely had to talk <br />to you. He said he would. He said he only needed two dry days to pull this off and <br />not to worry, he would have it done in time for softball. <br />Mr. Amendola suggested the issue be dropped this year; there will not be time to do <br />it. <br />Mr. Fixler suggested Mayor Rinker contact him to see if we can go forward <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak <br />must first state their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion <br />pertaining to the items under "Old Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />Authorization to release retainer to A&J Cement for work done at the Highland-SOM <br />Intersection. ($22,437.61) <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to authorize the release of the <br />retainer to A&j Cement. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />A motion to authorize the exi)enditure of $4 400 to Cuyahoga Regional Information <br />Systems (C.R.I.S.) for a mobile data computer terminal for a12olice car. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to authorize the expenditure of <br />$4,400 to C.R.I.S. (as stated above.)
