Regular Council Meeting
5/15/95
Page Nine
2) Hours of pick-up and delivery (They recommended an ordinance regulating
the hours.)
3) Request for variance for set backs for accessory buildings. (They recommended
there be no changes made.)
Planning and Zoning - Mr. Samac said the commission discussed granting a
variance for a sign at the rear of 760 Beta Drive. They recommend not to grant a
variance for the colors of the proposed sign. They discussed the signs across the
street for Revco were done in two parts (one part being approved as far as the
overall height of the letters; one aspect was written in to be denied was the color of
the proposed sign.) The last item passed on was the lot split on Echo Drive.
Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said they will be meeting this coming Wednesday.
He has invited some residents who are possibly interested in joining the Recreation
Board and they are going to try and come to observe it. He will be submitting
names. He understands the volleyball courts are coming along.
Mayor Rinker said we are waiting to put sand in until everyone on the Recreations
Board has had a chance to see it.
Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said they did meet with the Worton Park
home owners concerning the Worton Park Sewer meeting. He can't stress enough
the seriousness and determination of what his understanding of what the Sewer
Liaison Committee should be and what we are trying to make it. We are setting up
committees; we are learning as we go, taking recommendations, leads anywhere we
go and following them through. Then, we will take that from neighborhood to
neighborhood applying what is similar, finding out what the differences are. He
thinks if there were bylaws to this committee, this is what it would be designed to
do.
Worton Park Sewer U12date - Mr. Cappello said he and Phil will meet Ivan Otto on
Friday to discuss the assessment procedure. Plans and specs have been prepared.
Construction will begin after July to make sure we receive Issue II funding. So, we
are looking at the end of July or the beginning of August. Mr. Cappello said the
assessment per lot is $14,821.
North County Line Sanitary Trunk Sewer - Council President said we have covered
that enough, so let's go on.
