Regular Council Meeting <br />5/15/95 <br />Page Eight <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said she asked Department Heads for a copy of their <br />agenda items for the June 5 meeting by the Wednesday before so the committee will <br />have time to look them over. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the Finance Committee met this evening and <br />discussed the following: <br />1) Motion for $5,000 the Ohio Municipal League membership is needed. <br />2) Purchase of cars. They talked about using one of the police trade-ins rather <br />than purchase a new Fire car. <br />3) Video equipment for the Police Department - recommend approval. <br />4) 95-16 - We can't with 4 members. <br />5) Authorization for a computer for the Police Dept. from C.R.I.S. - recommend <br />approval. <br />5) Ord. 95-24 - Sewer Relief Fund - This will have to go on first reading tonight. <br />6) Abatement of $750 of tax penalties for K.M. Patel M.D. Inc. - We will waive <br />the penalties. <br />7) Ord. 95-19 - We will have to have more discussion because of the size <br />involved. <br />Mr. Flynn said he will leave it up to Mr. Brett to comment on the resolutions for <br />DOPWIC and WCLF. Discussion was held on the $22,900 from Classic--Mr. Brett is <br />going to,.have to have more input. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Cinco said there was no meeting. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco reported for Mr. Basile: The flooring in the south <br />wing is 85% complete. The installation of new rain gutters has been started and <br />should be completed this week. The annual Arbor Day Ceremony was on Apri128. <br />The house was not open. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said M.A.R.C. met on May 4. They are receiving good <br />response to the Family Venture Baseball Outing (a new program offered.) Thirty <br />people have signed up. It will be extended to seniors and other programs. The Track <br />Meet is scheduled for June 3 with a rain date of June 10. The next meeting will be <br />july 6. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Samac said the Ordinance Review Committee <br />met May 3. They addressed three items: <br />1) The revised fee schedule. (That was approved.)
