<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />5/15/95 <br />Page Seven <br />Mr. Brueggeman said the Water Pollution Control Loan Fund. There has been an <br />application; they are considering it and they said there is a very high chance of it, but <br />it has not yet been received. We are still working on that. <br />Finance - Mr. Brett said the Ohio Municipal League has accepted us into the group <br />rating that will be on the agenda later this evening for enrollment fee of $5,000. We <br />would stand to save $50,000 in the first year under the new rating. He hopes to have <br />the legislation pass this evening. It will be about 2 years before we see the benefits. <br />Activities Committee - Mayor Rinker said the Committee has been busy planning <br />the Pancake Breakfast and '50s Night. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Samac said there was no meeting last month; <br />there was nothing on the agenda. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Samac said the Board met May 9. They heard one case, a <br />variance request for a Metro Park Drive resident to place a shed on the property. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no meeting. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mrs. Cinco said the last Council meeting went through <br />the Citizen's Advisory meeting. They are scheduled to meet next Monday at 8 p.m. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Buckholtz reported for Mr. Busa: The Anniversary <br />Party for the Mayfield Senior Gentry is this Saturday from 1-4 p.m. in the <br />Community Room. The Mayor and Council are invited to attend. Bocce started on <br />April 20. The next trip scheduled is to Wooster Ohio for Ohio Light Opera's <br />production of Gypsy Love. The trip is August 9. Residents will receive top priority <br />until June 22. There is already a waiting list for non-residents. The cost is $45 per <br />person. Cards and crafts continue to meet on alternate Tuesdays from 1-4 in the <br />Community Room. The craft group will not meet on May 23 because Eunice Kalina <br />will be attending a luncheon on Hillcrest Meals on Wheels where she will be <br />installed as a Board members. Picnics will be scheduled shortly. Their trip to the <br />Allen Theatre for Forever Plaid followed by lunch at The Dock was highly <br />successful.
