Regular Council Meeting <br />5/15/95 <br />Page Twelve <br />Mr. Samac explained the sign ordinance requires the background of a sign to be darker <br />than the lettering. <br />Mr. Flynn said he agrees with P&Z; we rely on them. He feels he should stand his <br />ground as they did. <br />Mr. Fixler said they could try to set up a special meeting for next week. If they want to <br />put the sign up sooner, they would have to adhere to the code. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 95-20 entitled; "An emergency resolution <br />imploring Federal and State agencies to assist the Village of Mayfield in obtaining <br />Federal monies for mandated sewer improvements in the northern part of the <br />Village." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />95-20. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />- Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No 95-21 entitled; "A resolution authorizing the <br />Mayor to seek financial assistance form the State Issue 2 Infrastructure Funds for the <br />first year's capitalized interest on the Worton Park Sanitary Sewer Improvement." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />95-21. <br />Mr. Brett said this is trying to chip away at the Worton Park costs. It would be about <br />$46,000 if we get the full grant. He would like this passed this evening. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mayor Rinker suggested Council adopt a similar resolution for North County Line. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to amend the agenda to include <br />consideration of a similar resolution for Worton Park.
