Regular Council Meeting <br />6/19/95 <br />Page 4 <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mrs. Cinco said they will meet Monday at 8 <br />p.m. She will pass the minutes on to Council when she receives them. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said their first picnic will be held in the <br />Community Room tonight. The Craft Group enjoyed an outing to Aurora <br />Farms last Tuesday. The Card Group continues to meet on a regular basis. <br />They will also meet on July 11 since there will be no meeting on July 4. The <br />next major trip is to Wooster, Ohio August 9 for Ohio Light Opera's <br />production of GypW Love. The Bocce Group has been meeting Thursday <br />afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m. If the current heat wave continues, they will <br />meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mrs. Kalina attended her first meeting as a board <br />member of the Hillcrest Area Meals on Wheels. She also attended a preview <br />session at the Western Reserve Historical Society to learn of their offerings <br />for possible group outings. . <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met June 5. They discussed the <br />riding mower and recommended approval. The Police Department discussed <br />the air conditioning compressor. Mrs. Cinco asked about including the cardio <br />defib package on the July Caucus agenda. <br />Chief Mohr said they do not need to have this passed until next year. <br />Mr. Samac will contact Adams Heating and Air Conditioning tomorrow. <br />Mrs. Cinco said the Committee also discussed the wage ordinance that is <br />being voted on tonight. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said they discussed the following items: <br />1) insurance; 2) CEI; 3) Marshall; 4) Police Officers Liability; 5) Ordinance No. <br />95-24; 6) Resolution No. 95-27; 7-9 the asphalt, rejuvenation and cracksealing <br />projects. They have asked the Engineer to speak to the contractor to move <br />around and reorganize the Village's priorities. They also discussed wages for <br />the Recreation Coordinator and Human Services Director. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante had no report. <br />Historical Societv - Mr. Basile gave an update on the renovation of the <br />Bennett VanCuren historical house and said the house will be open for tours <br />soon.
