She thinks
that is a good compromise.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Proposal Accepted
A motion to approve an expenditure in the amount of $2,754 to Ameritech for 911
Positron maintenance
Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve an expenditure in the
amount of $2,754 to Ameritech for 911 Positron maintenance.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Expenditure Authorized
Home Federal Sign Request (789 S.O.M. Center Road)
Council President Fixler asked if everyone had seen the picture. He said he noticed the
sign above their doorway that is white with blue letters. He asked if it is a temporary
sign--and did they get a permit for it.
Chuck Zingale, from Brilliant Sign Company said it is a permanent sign and they got a
permit for it.
Council President Fixler asked how they got a permit for that sign.
Mr. Samac said that went before the Architectural Review Board. It was approved by
them. It needed no action by Council or the Planning Commission because there was
no variance required.
Council President Fixler said this is part of the inconsistency problem. The
Architectural Review Board allowed them to put up the sign that is the exact color
combination that Planning and Zoning is objecting to.
Mr. Samac said the provisions of the code that apply are different.
