'`.J?tv?.?.,}i.,,?',
313

Regular Council Meeting
8/21/95
Page 3
hopefully, no one in power in the future, that would dare go along with anything
without future funding. Council President Fixler said he thinks he and Mayor
Rinker will get together with the area realtors.
CD Mayor Rinker asked if there were specific instances we know of with the banks.
M
? Council President Fixler said along with Mr. Scheurger, there was another one
someone had pointed out to him. He asked they try to furnish that information.
z
? Mr. Monaco said they will try.
Mr. Flynn asked if it would be worthwhile to take out an ad or statement to let
realtors and banks know.
Council President Fixler said he thinks we need to formulate something on the
conservative side.
Mr. Monaco suggested the City Engineer's office be notified that there were no
future projects--he believes that is where some people got their information.
Mrs. Mills (in the audience) suggested the Village contact the Cleveland Area Board
of Realtors. She asked if they had seen the disclosure forms--she thinks that is
where some of the problems are.
Mr. Diemert said per your instructions and that of the Mayor, he talked to Mr.
Koren about an agreement Friday. The agreement we had heard last week was the
neighbors that were willing to settle with some compromise--he is not willing to
concede any further--he would like the lot split and variance he has requested to be
voted on in its current form.
Mayor Rinker said he would like to follow up with Mr. Koren and asked Council
hold off tonight.
Activities Committee - Mayor Rinker said we will meet in September.
