He said we will go ahead with the curbing. <br />Building - Mr. Samac said work on the Community Room Building is progressing. <br />(D We will do the opening between the addition and the existing facility probably <br />m within the next week. We have volunteers who will help with the finish work on <br />CY) the inside. <br />? <br />Z Engineer - Mr. Cappello said the road construction is underway. The sinkhole on <br />? S.O.M. will be fixed as part of this project. <br />Nir. Cappello said the Zorn/Hickory Hill force main is under construction. <br />Council President Fixler said he hopes the contractor put back enough money to <br />restore all the driveways, etc. ' <br />Mr. Cappello said the contract states the contractor will repair from the right-of-way <br />to the pavement. <br />Mayor Rinker said he and Tom Cappello went through the area and talked to the <br />residents about the project. There is only so much the contract typically calls for. If <br />there is damage to some mature trees, etc., it will be incumbent on the Village to do <br />that. He noted that a Pin Oak at Wildwood/Timberline has been totally removed. <br />Mayor Rinker said if we are going to replace relatively mature trees, that will be our <br />responsibility. There will be some things where the Village will be stepping in to <br />make sure are done better than the contractor can do. <br />Mr. Ferrante questioned the stopping and starting times allowed. <br />Mr. Cappello said they should be per Village ordinance. He believes they begin <br />about 7 a.m. <br />Mr. Ferrante said this morning about 5:30 a.m., they moved some heavy equipment. <br />About 6:45 this evening they were still moving equipment around the street and <br />people were having fo wait to get to their homes (until they moved the equipment.) <br />He said there seemed to be no one there (like an inspector) to guide them. <br />Mr. Cappello said the inspector is usually at the site when the actual construction <br />begins. He said typically, they move equipment to the site prior to the crews getting <br />there.
