They <br />approved one deck and 3 sheds. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Samac said there was no meeting; there were no agenda <br />items. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Buckholtz said they had a nice dedication ceremony. He expressed <br />thanks to Mr. Busa and everyone else who helped. He said there was a nice turnout. <br />They have invited Gates Mills to join the Cemetery Committee given the first of the <br />year. Gates Mills indicated they would be interested. Pat Negrelli may be that <br />person. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mrs. Cinco asked if (and when) Citizen's Advisory will <br />be meeting this month. (It is on the calendar for Tuesday, September 26.) <br />Miss Heath will check the calendar and advise Council and the Committee. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said the Commission on Aging/Human Services <br />Safet? and Service - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Director sends the following report: Plans are in place for the Flu Shot program <br />Monday, October '30. Pre-registration will be th'is Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and <br />Thursday, September 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. The pre-registration sessions and the Flu <br />Shot program will take place in the Community Room. The fee is $5 or free for <br />persons holding Medicare, Part B. The program is for person 60 years of age or more <br />or for those 22-60 with a chronic illness. The trip to New Wilmington, <br />Pennsylvania scheduled for Wednesday, October 11 is almost filled. The Bocce <br />group will begin meeting in the afternoons again now that the weather is cooler. <br />They will meet Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. at Wiley Park beginning next week. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said they met this evening and discussed the <br />following: . <br />1) Hygrade Painting - the Finance Director has addressed that item; <br />2) Issue II - Mr. Flynn asked Mr. Brett to expand and explain for Council; <br />3) Mr. Flynn said he will not mention it; it is moot right now. <br />4) Discussion regarding participation in C.O.S.T. - they would like to recommend <br />approval. He said this concerns C.E.I. or other utility companies; <br />5) Engineering Fee Requests -(Ordinance No. 95-33). The Finance Committee <br />recommends it be a 4% retainer, period. He said if he has missed any other <br />points, other members of the Finance Committee may want to address them <br />at this time. . <br />351
