They hope to purchase some <br />bulbs and have them planted if it is not too late in the season. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mrs. Cinco said they will meet next Monday. <br />(D Commission on Ag,i? - Mr. Busa reported the flu shot program was a big success <br />M with a record of 205 persons receiving fihe vaccine. The Card Group celebrated <br />? Halloween with a luncheon October 31. The next major event is the Christmas <br />? party Saturday, December 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Community Room. The Mayor <br />z and Council members are invited to stop in. Members of the Senior Gentry will <br />? visit the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Botanical Gardens <br />Wednesday, December 27. They will have lunch at Massimo da Milano. Bocce is <br />probably over until spring, but Cards and Crafts continue to meet on Tuesday <br />afternoans in the Community Room. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they discussed new police cars, which is on the <br />agenda tonight. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Fiynn said the committee met this evening. They <br />discussed and recommended approval of the following items: purchase of two <br />police cars; sale of used police cars; expenditure for change orders on the <br />Hilltop/Beech Hill project; amended wage ordinance; expenditure for additional <br />work on the Community Room addition; additional expenditure for work on the <br />1995 concrete replacement program; authorization of payment to repair <br />Highland/SOM "dip"; a resolution accepting amounts and rates as determined by <br />the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and a resolution <br />requesting the Cuyahoga County Treasurer to advance from the proceeds of tax <br />levies for the collection year 1996. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said they met November 18 and elected <br />the officers for 1996. The slate of officers is as follows: <br />President: Lee Gase Vice President: A1 Krulec <br />Treasurer: joanne Cinco Secretary and Program Director: <br />Larry Small <br />Historical Societv - Mr. Buckholtz reported for Mr. Basile: The annual Turkey Raffle <br />was another success. There was an excellent turnout. The next event is their <br />annual Potluck Supper on December 13 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Bring a <br />casserole or dessert. The Historical House will be closed during the month of <br />December.
