Regular Council Meeting 2-16-98 Page 13 Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to amend the agenda to consider approval of the location of the S.O.M. Center access road. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Agenda Amended Mr. Buckholtz, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to approve the location of the access road from S.O.M. Center to the North Chagrin Commons Boulevard (as amended by Council.) Mr. Diemert said the Engineer has the plan that Council will look at. Mr. Hovancsek said we both initialed the same document. Mr. Bialosky noted the document is inscribed BPA A lOlA. Mr. Diemert said this will suffice for the motion; he will bring a resolution to the next Council meeting. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Approval Granted Site Plan Approval - Progressive Insurance Council President Fixler said a Council motion to approve the Progressive site plan as indicated with the road. Mr. Diemert said this is more than just a roadway. We are talking about the location of buildings. Mr. Bialosky showed Council a drawing of Phase One. The access roadway from S.O.M. is shown in its southernmost location. It will move 50' further to the south so it will have the edge ofthe flood plain here. [He indicated the location on the map.] The first ,phase construction consists of two office buildings-both approximately 200,000 square feet, and including a basement-5 stories high. It includes a fitness center of 15,000 square feet. Amenities include a dining facility, visitor's center and cooling plant. Mr. Bialosky indicated on the map where parking arrangements are shown. Mr. Diemert said the site plan was already approved the by Planning & Zoning Commission. Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, ma.de a motion to approve the site plan.
