Mr. Marquardt had no comments. <br />Mr. Brett saici Council may have read in the paper that Meridia is leaving Mayfield <br />Village. They have been tallcing about moving on and off for the last few years. On <br />MarCh 17, he and NIayor Rinker met with their CEO. They discussed the fact that they <br />will be leaving because #hey are required to go to the old Parker Haxulifin headquarters <br />wh3ch was donated to the Clinic. They asked Nacy Panzica the chances of leasing the <br />louilding after they move anci Mr. Partzica said he gets calls every day about the <br />avaiiabitity of space. It is not ciear as to when they will be leaving. Mr. Brett said he <br />does not think it will have an impact on the overall tax for the Village. He would be <br />happy to address any questions now or after the meeting. <br />STANDING CONIlVI[TTEE REPOIZTS <br />Activities Committee - IV1rs. Roman reported the comnuttee will be working with the <br />Make-A-Wish Eoundation on 50s Night. She will have more infQrmation at the next <br />meeting. Voiunteers are still needed for the upcoming Pancake Breakfast on May 10. <br />Architectural Review Board - IVIr?. Samae said they met April 9. They discussed: a <br />Deck/Gazebo, a new cammercial project, an addition and a logo garage sign. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Saznac said they met March 24 and considered a request for a <br />parking variance for Progxessive Insurance who will be occupying warehouse space on <br />Beta Dnve for abou# 25 months until they get mto their new building. <br />Cemeterv - iJr. Parker said Dorothy Buzek wili speak at the Arbor Day ceremony. Nine <br />trees have been planted and plaques wilI be presented. <br />Citizen's Aclvisory Board - Mrs. Cinco said they met 2 weeks ago and discussed the <br />recreational needs for the northwest quadrant. <br />Commission on A- Mr. Btasa read the report from Mrs. Kalina, Director of Human <br />Sezvices. A copy is attached to the minutes.
