The low bidder, Specialized Maintenance, is <br />the company who does most of the work in this azea. The Village Engineer <br />recommended awarding the contract to them. <br />Mr. Mazquazdt, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount not <br />to exceed $35,000 for the 1998 road maintenance program (asphalt emulsion slurry seal). <br />Note: The exact bid amount is: $31,968.00. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Cazried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 98- 28; entitled; "An emergency ordinance <br />amending certain provisions of the Building Code set forth in Chapters 1321, 1325, and <br />1329. (First Reading 8-3-98) <br />Ordinance No. 98-28 was given second reading. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 98-29; entitled; "An emergency ordinance amending <br />Article V, Section 6(F) and adding new section (G) of the Charter of Mayfield Village <br />regarding original appointments to positions within the Classified Civil Service." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
