Regular Council Meeting <br />9/28/98 <br />Page 10 <br />Mr. Brett said this development agreement brings the changes that are a result of the TIF <br />negotiations so the two agreements are consistent. <br />Council President Fixler said the language needs to match. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if there were any changes to the agreement in terms to what we have agreed to <br />already. <br />Mr. Brett said we discussed some parameters two months ago in Executive Session. The changes to <br />-the Development Agreement fall within those parameters. We negotiated the TIF on the basis of <br />those. <br />Council President Fixler-said when we were talking with some of the costs of the road--how they <br />would be split up--that is what we are talking about. We are well within those parameters. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />First Reading of Ordinance 98-34 entitled; "An emergency ordinance -authorization modification <br />No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with URS Greiner for the North Chagrin Commons <br />Development/SOM Center Road widening." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Council President Fixler asked this to remain on first reading. because there are some questions that <br />have arisen in terms of some of the services that have been provided. The Finance Committee <br />thought it might be a good idea to have them come back to be re-interviewed and be sure we are all <br />satisfied as to the changes we have in mind. <br />Mr. Busa questioned the large amount of engineering fees. <br />Mr. Brett strongly urged Mr. Busa to attend the interview with URS Greiner. He said part of the <br />proceeds from the TIF go to this directly. This is one of the reasons for the TIF. <br />Mrs. Mills asked when the meeting will be held. <br />Council P-resident Fixler said it hasn't been set.
