Regular Council Meeting <br />9/28/98 <br />Page 12 <br />Dr. Parker asked if they have done the sweeps and if we have received any kind of report. <br />Council President Fixler asked Mrs. Roman to keep this item on the agenda. <br />Third Reading of Ordinance No. 98-28, entitled; "An emergency ordinance amending <br />certain provisions of the building code set forth in Chapters 1321, 1325, and 1329." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 813/98; Second <br />Reading 8/24/98.) <br />Mrs.. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact ordinance No. 98-28. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Cappello asked if everyone received a memo regarding the construction schedule. <br />Council President Fixler asked if the test went successfully that the lines are clear. <br />Mr. Cappello said yes. They must reschedule the paver. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked if there are plans to landscape~the bike path along SOM. <br />Mr. Metzung said he would like to see grass_not knowing the future of the bike path. <br />Council President Fixler suggested we think about rock since grass won't grow and our <br />personnel can't cut it. <br />Mrs. lYlills said the Kenwood Homeowners had a picnic which was a great success. On <br />September 20, the Flower -Show was held at the Historical House. She thanked the <br />Service Department for their help. She thanked the Police Department for assisting the <br />visitors who broke down (Mr. and Mrs. Don Vollker of Fort Wayne Indiana and Mr. and <br />Mrs. Bob Ehuman of.Port Orchard Washington.) <br />Mr. Bret said we sold 475 million dollars of notes this morning at an interest rate of <br />3.642. <br />Mr. Metzung said the State of Ohio is working on Wilson Mills. They are removing the <br />humps and~then they will crackseal the holes. <br />Dr. Parker asked if Council was going to let the shed issue drop. <br />
