Special Council Meeting <br />9-13-99 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Brett said when we purchased Parkview Golf Course, we had an initial sale of 4.975 which <br />put us up right up against our debt limitation. ~~Ve made a conscious effort to draw that amount <br />down. This year we are paying down further on the property, freeing up about 20% of the <br />property from public fmancing. In addition, we had the wetlands and the signalization. <br />Council President Marquardt said this is for real estate. <br />Mr. Brett said yes, for Parkview golf course, the wetlands and four signals (he cited the signal <br />locations.) <br />A brief discussion was held. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Mr. Brett presented the Fiscal Officer's Certificate to Mayor Rinker and Council for Ordinance <br />99-30. <br />First 12eadin~ of Ordinance No. 99-30, entitled; "An ordinance to provide for the issuance and <br />sale of $200,000 of notes of Mayfield Village, Ohio, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds to <br />pay costs of installing roadway safety and message signage and signalization at the intersections <br />of North Commons Boulevard and White Road, Parkview Drive and S.O.M. Center Road, White <br />Road and S.O.M. Center Road and Sandalwood Drive and S.O.M. Center Road and declaring an. <br />emergency."
