Regular Council Meeting 9-27-99 Page 7 1 Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no report. Council President Marquardt asked for a report from the Cable Committee. Mr. Ilacqua said they met a week ago to discuss changes and revisions to the contracts that were submitted to Mr. Diemert. Mr. Ilacqua met with Mr. Diemert last week to give him the committee's changes to the contract to submit to David Lynch,_ Cablevision Representative. One of the main changes is to deem Mayfield High School a k~ub for an IMET network (an educational and public access channel network.) Mr. Diemert will let us know what he hear-s from Mr. Lynch about the changes. -Once we have final contracts, we will submit them to Council. OLD BUSINESS ^ Executive Session (Real Estate) Council President Marquardt requested a motion to recess into Executive Session to discuss real estate. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to recess into Executive Session to discuss real estate matters. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Council went into Executive Session at 8:42 p.m. Council.reconvened at 9:05 p.m. Second Reading of Ordinance No. 99-27, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a lease for the real property known as 386 S.O.M. Center Road. Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 9-13-99) Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 99-27. Mr. Brett said. this is for the rental of the old Ciofani property. He has been a good tenant over the last year and we are extending the lease until the end of June because the tenant has a child living with him-who is in the• school system. We will reevaluate the situation at that-time.
