Mr. Busa said it will be discussed at the <br />next Council meeting. <br />Viacom - 3% to Village <br />Mr. Carmen reported the Village is to receive 3% from Viacom beginning six <br />months from the first turn on date. To date it is a little less than six <br />months. He spoke with Mazie Coffey of Viacom and advised her we will be due <br />money shortly. Cable services should be available to those in the Aintree <br />area who are the last to receive service, by the end.of the month. He <br />further reported all problems previously reported have been corrected, <br />Mr. Amendola said he received a complaint from a resident on Glenview which <br />he will be checkink. Mr. Carmen will be checking the status of the service to be available to the <br />Service Department and the schools. <br />Discussion was held regarding the 3% due the Village would be determined. <br />Mr. Busa suggested the Voice of the Village could contain a mail-back insert <br />that would ask the residents to list the types of service they receive from <br />Viacom and the cost. <br />Cleveland Hydrant Charge <br />Mr. Busa asked if Council wanted to pay the $1,195.92 charge. <br />Mr. Feneli said this is something discussed in the settlement of the water <br />suit. Some members of the Mayors and City Managers Association feel it might <br />be wise to reopen the case on some of these issues. <br />Chief Hejcl said the agreement states they will maintain the hydrants for <br />normal wear and tearo <br />Mayor Beebe suggested the bill not be paid until we see what the other Mayors <br />and City Managers are going to do. We should also try to receive the $8,000 <br />the Water Department owes us. <br />Mr. Carmen suggested.we contact the other communities to see what they plan <br />to do, since there is strength in numbers. <br />Mayor Beebe said that was the feeling of the Hillcrest Area Mayors he met with <br />the other.day. <br />Mr. Feneli suggested the Council Representative to the Hillcrest Council of <br />Councils bring the matter up for discussion at one of their meetings. <br />Mr. Etzler said he read that the Mayors and City Managers were going to appeal <br />this charge and suggested payment be tabled until the matter is resolved.
