,? 4, <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Metropark Code Violatioiis &:Hdme:Removal -_Mr. Carmen reported he will be <br />following up on this matter. He placed a call to find out the status and <br />he has not yet received a return call. <br />Contract Agreement with Clevelarid:House'of'Corrections - Chief Stevens <br />said they have not mailed out any further contracts due to the new jail <br />standards. He anticipates an answer within the next week. They are <br />accepting our prisoners temporarily. <br />A brief discussion was held regarding the new jail standards. <br />Chief Stevens and Mr. Feneli will be discussing and researching this and <br />will report at the next meeting. <br />White Road Repaving - Mr. Toth said since the cost of repaving is to be <br />shared with Willoughby Hills, he would like a motion from Council to show <br />they are considering the project. <br />Mr. Spellman asked if there were sufficient funds to cover this. <br />Mr. Toth said it is included in the 1983 appropriations, which are to be <br />passed by Council. The Village will split the.cost of.materials to repave <br />the road with Willoughby Hills and the County will provide the labor and <br />equipment, therefore it is not a competitive bid item. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion that Mayfield Village <br />provide the funds for their share in the repaving of White Road in the <br />amount of $5,500.00. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there was any further discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Funds Approved <br />to repave White Road <br />Sick Leave for Employees - Mr. Spellman stated this will be discussed by <br />the Finance Committee. <br />Beechers Brook and Beech Hill - Mr. Busa said Council received the suggested <br />letter to the residents of those streets as prepared by Mr. Feneli. Discussion <br />was held. He suggested Mr. Carmen and Mr. Feneli work together on revising it <br />and work on it at the next Caucus. <br />Recodif ication and Proposed:Amendments to P& Z Code - Mr. Feneli said Mr. <br />Amendola has proposed another series of amendments to the.code which will <br />be reviewed by Planning and Zoning. They will submit a letter with their <br />recommendations to Council. Then it is up to Council to decide which <br />recommendations they will submit to be recodif ied.
