<br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to re-appoint Mrs. Rita <br />Mikula as Coordinator of the Commission on Aging for a two year term. <br />There were no further comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Mrs. Mikula accepted the appointment. <br />Mrs. Rita Mikula to serve as Coordinator of the Commission on Aging for a <br />two-year term beginning January, 1984. <br />Special Projects Committee - Mr. Carmen said the Committee received a request <br />from Mr. Gross to hold another retail sale for three days in his facility. <br />The sale would be November 18, 198 and 20. The same procedure as in the past <br />sale would be followed. Residents will receive letters advising them of the <br />sale. Included with the letter will be tickets to the "Residents Only" sale <br />which would be .from 9:00 a.m. to noon Friday this year. The sale would be <br />open to the general public from noon to 9:00 p.m. Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. <br />Saturday, and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Mr. Carmen said there were no <br />problems during the previous sales regarding traffic etc. and Mr. Gross has <br />again offe'red to make a contribution to the Community Room Fund in consideration <br />of this. He recommends Council approve the request. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Spellman, made a motion to allow a retail sale on <br />November 18, 19, and 20, 1983 at the L.N. Gross/Bradley Knitwear facility on <br />Beta Drive. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Feneli said he is not prepared to comment at this time but will comment at <br />the next meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Motion Carried <br />Approval Given <br />Conergics/Mayfran Bond Agreement - Mr. Feneli said he was contacted by Mr. <br />Kramer with a request that this be placed on the agenda. <br />Mr. Kramer stated that the President and Vice President of Conergics are <br />present tonight and wish to explain their proposal. <br />Mr. Jerry Rivette, President of Conergics, said Conergics is presently in <br />negotiations to purchase the assets of Mayfran Gorporation, One item still <br />to be resolved is the Industrial Development Bond.
