Mrs. Bloom, seconded by•Mr. Et.'z1er, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Spellman, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-16. Council President Spellma.n asked if there were any comments regarding this ordinance. Mr. Etzler pointed out that_although certain people were removed from the bonding ordinance they are covered by blanket coverages, as all Village employees are, of $5,000.00. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. Bloom and Mrs. Hanus' NAYS: None ABSTAIN: Mr. Busa Motion.Carried Ordinance Passed Ordinance 82=17, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 82-5; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. Council President Spellman stated this ordinance includes a correction for f ire fighters wage and part time police officers from Auxiliary, giving them a 1,000 hour ceiling so they may be better utilized. Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments or questions regarding this ordinance. Mr. Feneli stated he was not given information as to a uniform allowance for part time police officers and the ordinance does not include that. He said he was contacted by Mr. Etzler as.to this problem after the ordinance was drafted, who asked him to bring the matter to Councils attention. He asked what Council wanted to do as this should be considered before passage of the ordinance.
