Introduced <br />by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Council President Spellman stated this ordinance includes a correction for <br />f ire fighters wage and part time police officers from Auxiliary, giving <br />them a 1,000 hour ceiling so they may be better utilized. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Spellma.n, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-17. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments or questions <br />regarding this ordinance. <br />Mr. Feneli stated he was not given information as to a uniform allowance <br />for part time police officers and the ordinance does not include that. <br />He said he was contacted by Mr. Etzler as.to this problem after the <br />ordinance was drafted, who asked him to bring the matter to Councils <br />attention. He asked what Council wanted to do as this should be considered <br />before passage of the ordinance.
