<br />Mr. Feneli..stated,the.ordinance has not yet been drafted and that he was <br />open for suggestions. He said the ordinance would list procedures that <br />comply with the Ohio Revised Code pertaining to open books and means. <br />Mr. Feneli to prepare an ordinance for the April 21 Caucus. <br />Council President Spellman stated in reference.to the opinion poll survey <br />he sent out about eight days ago; he has received over 300 replies as of <br />this date. He said regarding the invalid and handicapped section of his <br />survey, he asks for a person to give their name, address and specify <br />their particular handicap. He said he will be compiling a list of such <br />and will be forwarding it to the Police and Fire Departments for their <br />information. <br />Council President Spellman stated that regarding Regional Planning - a <br />decision will be made soon. <br />Council President Spellman stated the Seneca/Heinens traffic signal was <br />mentioned many times in his survey and he is happy to hear that it is <br />being resolved. <br />Council President Spellman stated he would like Council to consider <br />establishing a Senior Citizen.s Organization. He said his.survey reflects <br />several interested persons who woulcl be willing to get involved in such <br />an organization. He feels an organization should be established on a <br />temporary basis and that one citizen should be appointed to research and <br />to find interested persons and report to Council so a determination as <br />to the worth and merit of such an organization can be made. He asked <br />if Council had any questions. <br />Mrs. Hanus commented she thinks a Senior Citizens Group would be a worth- <br />while project. She said careful consideration should be given to the <br />person chosen to research the project and asked approximately how many <br />persons had indicated interest in this. <br />Council President Spellman stated there was a substantial amount of Senior <br />Citizens in the Village, especially in the Aintree area. <br />Council President Spellman stated if there are no objections from Mayor <br />Beebe or Council, he would like to ask Mrs. Rita Mikula to take on the <br />project of researching for a Senior Citizens Organization. <br />There were no objections. <br />Council President Spellman asked Mrs. Mikula (as she was in the audience) <br />if she would like to take on the project. <br />Mrs. Mikula stated she would say yes, tentatively. <br />
