<br /> <br />? <br />Mr. Etzler asked how this would apply to road work to be done. <br />Mr. Feneli further explained Mr. Etzlers question; asking if money from <br />the Capital Improvements Fund could be used for street repair, or would it <br />f irst have to go into the Street Construction Fund. <br />Mrs. Ruggles stated the money could be designated from the Capital Improvements <br />Fund for Street Repair. <br />Council President Spellman stated a suspension of rules is not required as <br />this ordinance is on third reading. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Resolution 82-15, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RENEWAL OF A 1.6 <br />MILL LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF SALARIES OF.PERMANENT POLICE PERSONNEL FOR THE <br />TAX DUPLICATE YEARS 1982 THROUGH 1986, INCLUSIVE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by the Mayor and Council as.a Whole. <br />Council President Spellman stated this would be on the ballot on.June 8 and <br />it is his und.erstanding this would,not be a tax increase. <br />Mrs. Ruggles stated Mr. Spellma.n was correct, the Resolution is for a renewal. <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by"Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Flynn,.made a motion to adopt Resolution 82-15. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments for discussion. <br />Council President Spellman asked how many dollars this would generate in <br />revenue. <br />Mrs. Ruggles stated it generated $74,000.00 this year and the tax duplicate <br />increases slightly over the years. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted
