Vra <br />Mr. Etzler said he agreed with Mr. Busa but questioned if the entire <br />property needed to be fenced in. He said if only a portion of the <br />property was fenced in there would be access to the property for future <br />use. He said it was his understanding this was to be discussed by the <br />Finance Committee. <br />Mr. Carmen asked if the Finance Committee could discuss this matter and <br />make their report at the April 19 meeting. <br />Council President Spellma.n asked if Council wished to have this discussed <br />further by the Finance Committee or if they wished to take action now. <br />Mr. Busa requested Council act on the matter now. <br />The other members of Council requested the matter be discussed by the <br />Finance Committee before a decision is made.. <br />Council President Spellman stated the matter is to be discussed by the <br />Finance Committee, a report to be given at the April 19 meeting. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Safety & Service - Mrs. Bloom stated the Saf.ety & Service.Meeting will be <br />Wednesday, April 14.. . <br />Finance - Mr. Etzler stated the Finance Committee met March 22. Items <br />discussed included; fencing of the Arco property, the Regional Planning <br />bill which they recommend not be paid. He sai,d the Committee recommends <br />the purchase of two portable radios, 25% of the total cost to be assumed <br />by the High School. He said the Finance Committee will be meeting with <br />the radio salesmen Tuesday April 20 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the purchase <br />of a new console for the Police Department tha.t will serve the Police, <br />Fire and Service Departments. . <br />Council President Spellman stated in reference to the Regional Planning <br />bill he feels Council should adopt the recommendation of the Finance <br />Committee to table the ma.tter and reconsider it in a few months. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Council President Spellman asked if Council had any Committee reports. <br />Mrs. Hanus said,.in reference to the Community .Room Committee, she would <br />like to remind everyone there will be a Swap Meet Sunday April 18, 50% <br />of the profit .to be given to the Community Room Fund. She said the <br />Village Garage Sale is April 24 and 25, reminding everyone to bring in <br />anything they may wish to donate to the sale; as all profits will go <br />towards the community room. <br />
