78 <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Council President Spellman, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a.motion to pass <br />Ordinance 82-24. <br />Council President Spellman asked Council if there were any comments for <br />discussion regarding this ordinance. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there was a reason we only received one bid. <br />Chief Stevens stated in his opinion that was not unusual. <br />Mr. Busa asked if any action has been taken by the Hillcrest.area.Mayors <br />regarding group purchasing of items such as police cruisers. <br />Council President Spellman stated the matter is still being discussed but <br />due to the deadline involved it was not considered for this purchase. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Architectural Designs fbr the'Community'Buildirig and Fire Department <br />Mr. Amendola said the total cost for a set of drawings from Copper and <br />Associates would be $7,400.00. The balance due them would be lower as <br />they have already been paid $1,550.00 towards that amount. He stated the <br />architects are aware that there is no guarantee they will get the job <br />because they made the drawings. He feels the Architectural Review Board <br />should review the architects and make their recommendation to Council for <br />the final decision. Mr. Amendola said a resident has agreed to make the <br />drawings for the plumbing but the drawings must be in agreement with the <br />other architects. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated the Community Room Committee will be meeting with Mr. <br />Amendola Wednesday, April 14 at 9:00 a.m. to further discuss this matter. <br />Mr. Etzler.said he would be interested to know the intentions of the Fire <br />Department regarding an addition. <br />Mr. Hovancsek to discuss this with Chief Hejcl. <br />Mr. Busa suggested the matter be discussed further by the Finance Committee. <br />Mr. Amendola stated the cost involved would be less if the drawings were <br />done now.
